I dropped my 🏊‍♂️ swimming team competition just to work at the 🤖 robotics club… AND I DON’T REGRET THAT CHOICE ONE BIT!!! (Coach Fiore, please forgive me 🙏).

I think I’ve told you about our lab before, but sadly, I lost some posts during the migration of my blog site (so frustrating 😓).

I’m both a coder 💻 and an engineer 🔧 on our team, which means I can literally do ANYTHING! If you’ve never heard of the VEX Robotics Competition, check this out: VEX Robotics Competition Introduction. (Trust me, everyone would love it! 😄)

Right now, I’m working on coding the skills autonomous period for our robot.

This is a 1-minute phase where the robot performs tasks completely on its own, for the normal competition, I usually prepare 2 auton for the robot, one for normal 2v2 competition, and the other one for skills. These two were quite different from each other. For instance, the autonomous period for 2v2 competition is 30 seconds, howvever, it’s 1 minute in Skills, which means I can do much more things in skills compared to 2v2 competition.

(But it also means a lot more work)

[ By the way, is this video very cool? I mean the position, the shortcode is killing me :( ]

Here are some photos of the robot (and me).
